Job Overview:
As a Solutions Architect, you will lead the presales discovery, analysis, architectures, designs, and proposals of relevant solutions that map to customer outcomes and requirements through direct client engagement.
A Solutions Architect effectively and efficiently leverages presales methodologies, technical acumen, key relationships (clients, internal stakeholders, and vendor partners), and context analysis (Industry, Customer, Technical, Sales) to position and recommend solutions that that deliver long term value.
Job Duties and ResponsibilitiesWork directly with customers and account managers in Pre-Sales situations
Work effectively across functions with other company employees in Sales, Marketing, Proposals, Capture, and Project Management areas
Meet with customers and collect customer requirements for infrastructure requirements
Work with Account Manager/Sales Team to develop customer relationships and solutions
Build and foster business relationships with strategic partners and vendors
Create high-level solution designs/architectures and present to customers
Create customer and partner facing presentations
Create BoMs and solution configurations
Build scopes of services and professional services pricing
Write SoWs and/or responding to RFPs
Job Requirements:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience and/or military experience.
Minimum of 10+ years' experience with security role involving the design, development, and implementation of complex security solutions.
Hands-on experience in deployment, administration, configuration, or integration of multi-vendor solutions is an advantage
Develop high-level technical security solutions and present to clients (Hardware, Software, Licensing, Professional Services).
Industry and vendor certifications like CISSP, GIAC, CEH, Cisco, PAN, F5, etc. are highly preferred.
Expert-level knowledge and experience with design, implementation, and support of two or more of the following:
Wireless solutions (Cisco, Meraki, Aruba)
Routing and switching solutions (Cisco, Juniper, Arista)
Load balancing solutions (F5, Netscaler)
SDN solutions (Cisco, VMware)
SDWAN solutions (Cisco, VMware, Palo Alto, Silver Peak)
Cloud security and networking (AWS, Azure, GCP)
Network Access Control (ISE, Aruba ClearPass)
IDS/IPS solutions (Cisco, Palo Alto)
Endpoint security (Palo Alto, SentinelOne, Microsoft)
Identity and Access Management solutions
Possess strong knowledge of security architectures and technologies including assessment, methodologies, compliance standards (e.g., ZTA, TIC, NIST, HIPAA, SANS 20)
Possess solid working knowledge of vendor programs and partner eco-system.
Possess a strong knowledge of cloud architecture and its security concerns.
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Presentation and public speaking skills
Collaborate and work effectively with various team members
Demonstrated passion for technology, solution design and self-study.
Must be a US Citizen and be clearable or hold a Government Clearance (TS is preferred)
