Warranty Care Representative - Provo, United States - Turner Medtech
Description
Coordinate and schedule warranty requests with existing homeowners, including scheduling trade contractors for warranty work.Track all warranties records while working with site superintendent to prepare each new home for final orientation with new buyers.
ResponsibilitiesCommunicate and work with new homeowners to address legitimate warranties requests. All warranties are to be completed, and signed off, within 7 days of warranty request.
Maintain professional relationships with homeowners with a happy, helpful demeanor.
Schedule necessary trades to execute warranties and make personal repairs where necessary.
Inspect all homes prior to final inspection and final orientation and relay findings to superintendent on all items needing attention.
Generate lists for necessary trades to ensure each home is ready for occupancy.Attend company construction and warranty meetings.
Qualifications
Three or more years of construction experience.
Expertise in drywall repair and paint touch-up.
Working knowledge of construction maintenance and repair.
High school diploma or GED required.
Valid driver's license required.
Ability to work with and learn new technologies and software.
Effective at diffusing potentially tense situations with homebuyers and trade partners.
Self-driven, organized and an effective multi-tasker.
Willing to devote time to learning our way of providing warranties and delivering homes that exceed industry standards.
Additional Information
Willing to get dirty, as needed, to get tasks completed.
There is variation from day to day on what is needed, the work will not always be warranties. At times it may require lifting, making repairs, operating vehicles, climbing stairs and/or ladders and sometimes operating heavy equipment. Sister companies also own apartments that may, at times, need assistance preparing empty units to being lived in.
