    Veriforce is looking for a highly motivated Software Architect to join our team

    The Software Architect will execute on all aspects of the software development lifecycle including design, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance of the e-commerce and product-led growth applications.

    You enjoy fast-paced environments where you can solve difficult problems using current technologies and tools. You collaborate well with other team members when brainstorming, designing, and implementing new solutions. You will also help the team succeed by thinking about ways to improve processes, suggesting ways to make the team more effective, and mentoring and modeling engineering best practices.

    This position is an individual contributor role reporting to the Chief Software Architect.

    What you'll do:

    • Collaborate with project stakeholders to determine functional and non-functional requirements for new software or applications
    • Develop high-level product specifications with attention to system integration and feasibility
    • Define all aspects of development from appropriate technology and workflow to coding standards
    • Contribute to the products via architecture, code reviews, and sometimes hands on development and operations
    • Communicate successfully all concepts and guidelines to development teams
    • Provide technical guidance and coaching to developers and engineers
    • Create and maintain documentation surrounding the software architecture, application design processes, component integration, testing guidelines and other key elements
    • Have a deep understanding of how our platform and client solutions are built.
    • Designing major aspects of the architecture of an application, including components such as user interface, middleware and infrastructure
    • Troubleshoot coding problems quickly and efficiently to ensure a productive workplace
    What you'll need:
    • Passion for technology with 7-10 years of experience developing and designing software with .Net and Javascript
    • Expertise in the design, development and deployment of enterprise-level N-tier architecture in a Microsoft .NET platform
    • Strong passion for adhering to best practices and designing and implementing code quality checks into the development lifecycle
    • Outstanding knowledge of software and application design and architecture patterns
    • The sense of ownership and pride in your performance and its impact on the company's success
    • Excellent technical communications skill
    • Technical and operational understanding of distributed systems at scale (monitoring, deployment, alerting, etc)
    • Familiarity with containerization technologies, such as Docker, Kubernetes, Rancher, and similar
