Responsibilities:


  • Lead the evaluation and selection of technology solutions, frameworks, and tools that enhance the Mendix platform's capabilities.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions using Mendix.
  • Architect endtoend solutions that encompass integrations with external systems, data management, security, and scalability considerations.
  • Design and implement custom modules, Microservices, and APIs within the Mendix platform to meet project requirements.
  • Conduct architectural reviews and provide guidance to development teams on design principles, coding standards, and best practices.
  • Stay updated on emerging trends and advancements in lowcode development, contributing insights and recommendations to drive innovation.
  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior architects and developers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.

Requirements:


  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • 15+ years of experience in software development, with a minimum of 10+ years of handson experience with the Mendix platform.
  • Proficiency in Mendix development, including expertise in Microflows, Domain Models, and UI design.
  • Strong understanding of software architecture principles, design patterns, and enterprise integration patterns.
  • Experience in leading architecture initiatives and guiding development teams in delivering complex solutions.
  • Excellent problemsolving and analytical skills, with the ability to analyze requirements and propose innovative solutions.
  • Solid understanding of web technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and RESTful APIs.
  • Experience with Agile methodologies and tools (e.g., Scrum, JIRA) for project management and collaboration.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively articulate technical concepts to nontechnical stakeholders.
  • Mendix Advanced Developer Certification is preferred.

Preferred:

  • Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools for continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD).
  • Previous experience in mentoring and coaching junior architects and developers.
  • Active participation in the Mendix community through forums, meetupsTop of Form

Job Types:

Pay:
From $90.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
