    Description


    We are currently hiring RN Supervisors in the Waterford, CT area to help in critical care facilities, nursing facilities, hospitals and social service companies.

    Interested candidates must hold an active Connecticut State license in skilled area, with a minimum of six months working experience in either a hospital, nursing facility, medical or surgical, and/or group home/ social service setting(s).


    Responsibilities:

    • Oversee and coordinate nursing staff activities and patient care on assigned shift
    • Ensure adherence to established policies, procedures, and standards of care
    • Provide direct patient care as needed, including pain management, gastric lavage, specimen collection processing, and toddler care
    • Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement patient care plans
    • Monitor patient progress and make adjustments to treatment plans as necessary
    • Assist with family planning and provide education on reproductive health
    • Ensure compliance with workers compensation laws and occupational health regulations
    • Coordinate medical imaging procedures and interpret results
    • Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
    • Provide leadership and guidance to nursing staff

    Experience:

    • Bachelor's degree in Nursing or related field required; Master's degree preferred
    • Valid nursing license in the state of CT
    • Minimum of 5 years of nursing experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or leadership role
    • Strong knowledge of medical terminology, laboratory procedures, and healthcare regulations
    • Ability to effectively communicate with patients, families, and healthcare providers
    • Excellent problemsolving skills and ability to make quick decisions in highpressure situations
    • Proficient in using electronic medical record systems
