Position Overview

Vantage is looking for an autonomous, detail-oriented, high-performing Financial Reporting Analyst to work with our Finance team to ensure financial reporting accuracy and contribute to an effective internal control and accurate managerial reporting environment.

This position combines coordination with our accounting team in the monthly close process as well as financial reporting, financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting.

Responsibilities include monthly, quarterly, and annual internally prepared financial statements, KPI's, Board decks, and other ad-hoc financial reporting to meet internal management and external investor and debt requirements.

You will contribute to the accounting and financial planning process, and communicate across the organizational departments, to ensure transactions are tracking against budgets and forecasts, properly recorded.

You will work with the FP&A and Accounting teams in monitoring accounts and financial statements for compliance with U.S. GAAP, bridged to internal financial reporting, and reconciled against key metrics and KPIs.

Essential Job Functions & Duties

Assist in month end, quarterly, annual operating financial planning and financial reporting to various stakeholdersm working cross functionally with various teams, including business finance, accounting, and business operations.

Drive continuous improvement and standardization of processes, implement best practices and deliver automation throughout month-end close and financial planning cycles.

Analyze complex financial data and provide accurate and timely reports to key stakeholders, highlighting key insights and recommendations.
Support the month-end close process and ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
Assist in developing and implementing financial policies, procedures, and internal controls.

Deliver detailed variance analysis, identifying risks and opportunities, and effectively communicate results to senior leadership in order to influence tactical and strategic business decisions.

Develop financial models and budgets for new business concepts and resulting financial impact to help drive data driven decision making.

Work with multiple datasets and transform it into insights and information.

Participate in Finance initiatives, including but not limited to process improvements, ad hoc analyses, and preparation of periodic reporting activities.

Job Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance with 2+ years finance experience;
Excellent financial/business modeling & analysis skills. Advanced knowledge of Excel and Powerpoint.
Yardi experience is highly preferred.

Ability to simplify, generate actionable business insights from complex datasets, rationalize & forecast business implications and develop recommendations/formulate business cases.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to influence stakeholders to ensure business needs & goals are met.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, comfortable working with ambiguity and change.
Self-motivated, able to work through multiple, competing priorities.
Bilingualism (French and English) is preferable for this position due to the nature of the role requiring daily interactions with Finance Department whose stakeholders are located in the United States and Canada
