Traffic Engineer needed to join a dynamic team responsible for the delivery of traffic safety improvement projects in Delaware, Maryland and Washington, DCAssist with traffic engineering tasks ranging from traffic impact analysis (TIA), safety evaluations, signal analysis and design and the preparation of signing and pavement marking plans, MOT / construction phasing plans, transportation management plans (TMPs) and lighting plans.
Assist with traffic study reviews from third parties for new developments and projects.Additional Required Attributes:
OpenRoads Designer (ORD) and ProjectWise (PW) experience a plusProfessional Organization participation (ITE, ASHE and/or ASCE)Bluebeam PDF editor experience a plusDeveloping Maintenance of Traffic schemes, Construction Phasing and Traffic Control PlansDeveloping project cost estimates and specifications, including Special Provisions.
Experience with lighting design softwarePreferred Attributes:
Excellent communication skills - both oral and written. Experience with preparing technical reports and memorandums.
