As a Junior WordPress Developer, you will be responsible for assisting with the development and maintenance of WordPress websites.

You will work closely with our senior developer, website designer, and project managers to bring clients' visions to life and deliver high-quality websites.

This role offers an excellent opportunity for growth and professional development, as you will have the chance to expand your skills and knowledge in web development and WordPress.

Applicants must provide examples of WORDPRESS websites they have developed to be considered.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with our senior developer, designer, and project managers to develop WordPress websites that meet clients' requirements and expectations.
• Assist in the creation and implementation of custom themes, plugins, and functionality using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP.
• Conduct website updates, including content uploads, theme modifications, and plugin installations.
• Build websites based on mockups designed in Adobe XD or Figma.
• Perform website maintenance tasks, such as debugging, troubleshooting, and ensuring website performance and security.
• Optimize websites for search engines (SEO) and implement best practices for website speed and usability.
• Stay up to date with the latest trends and advancements in web development and WordPress.
• Contribute to team discussions and provide creative input to improve the overall quality of our projects.
• Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to ensure smooth project workflows and timely delivery.
• Implement Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics.
• Conducting basic WordPress training with clients.

Requirements:

• At least 1 year of experience as a WordPress Developer.
• A portfolio or examples of previous WordPress projects.
• Solid understanding of WordPress and its core functionality.
• Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP.
• Experience working with WordPress themes and plugins (ACF, Gravity Forms, Elementor).
• Familiarity with DNS record updates and SMTP.
• Familiarity with responsive web design principles.
• Knowledge of SEO best practices and website optimization techniques.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to deliver highquality work.
• Excellent problemsolving and troubleshooting skills.
• Effective communication and collaboration abilities.
• Ability to work both independently and in a teamoriented environment.
• Excellent organization and time management skills
