- Manage, coach, and oversee the daily activities of the Resident Account Services Team
- Monitor work levels and manage capacity among members of the RAS teams to maximize performance
- Serve as the primary point of contact for the status of collections and eviction activity
- Oversee the relationship with our third-party vendors who are responsible for serving and evicting delinquent accounts
- Liaise with Regionals and VPs to ensure that receivables are followed up on promptly by IRT's standardized best practice and agreed upon service levels
- Ensure escalation of issues that may delay collection, or prevent payment are addressed
- Keep management advised of all critical issues, identify and report leading risk indicators promptly
- Manage all facets of collection and bad debt to minimize financial impact
- Ensure accuracy of reporting to ensure that relevant stakeholders are informed regarding collections status
- Complete annual performance reviews for the RAS Team
- Review and monitor that collection procedures are completed correctly and timely per policy
- Monitor overall productivity of team to ensure time is maximized and team is working efficiently
- Assist with collection calls as needed and handle escalated collection calls
- Maximize technology and best practices to ensure a high level of collections
- Responsible for data integrity of all collection reporting and key performance indicator measurements
- Complete projects that assigned by Supervisor
- Keen attention to detail and effective organizational skills
- Excellent English verbal and written communication skills
- Good working knowledge of MS Office applications (e.g., Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Must be confident to escalate and ask questions, especially when being asked to deviate from standard processes
- Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks to meet deadlines
- Ability to perform at high levels in a fast-paced ever-changing work environment and successfully adapt to changing priorities and work demands, including learning new skills when required
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Ability to anticipate work needs and follow through with minimum direction
- Flexibility to work a reasonable shifting schedule as required
