Your tasks

Within our Research & Development department at our location in Weißbach, we are currently looking for students who would like to complete a mandatory internship or their final thesis with us for a duration of approximately 6 months.

You will be working on exciting product development projects related to artificial leather materials and films for use in vehicle interiors, as well as the construction and furniture industries. You will also be involved in paint development for plastics and surface design.

Your tasks will include:
  • Supporting project managers in paint development projects and independently carrying out sub-projects
  • Creating sample formulations for various paint systems and laboratory prototypes
  • Learning about various testing methods for coating systems and independently conducting these as series investigations
  • Evaluating, documenting, and presenting your results

Your profile
  • Students in the field of applied chemistry, chemical engineering, plastics engineering, color and paint, or a related field
  • Proficient in MS Office programs
  • Fluent in German and good English skills, both written and spoken
  • Team player with strong analytical thinking, confident demeanor, and ability to work independently
