Subject Matter Expert (SME)
JOB DESCRIPTIONIdeal candidate will translate, revamp and/ or write content and help develop courses for new undergraduate, graduate, and doctoral initiatives.
Subject Matter Experts (SME) work with members of the course design team to develop the components for the course and is contracted for specific tasks.
Must have comprehensive content knowledge in specific subject area, including familiarity with current theories, practical applications, and industry standards.Ability to complete thorough and accurate work and manage time effectively to meet project timelines and produce high-quality results.

Spanish to English
COMM 140 – Comunicación EfectivaCOMM 250 – Periodismo DigitalEDUC 902 – Métodos Estadísticos en la EducaciónEnglish to Spanish
COMM 21- Development and Management of Media EnterprisesHIDE 200 – History of Design TodayEDUC 904 – Quantitative Research MethodsQUALIFICATIONS
Education:
Earned Doctoral Degree in area of specialization, candidates who are ABD are encouraged to apply.
Eighteen academic credits on area of expertise (required).
Experience:
Experience in courses development, translation and or revamping in the online, face-to-face, or blended environment.
Experience in curriculum development.
Three years practice relevant to the subject matter.
Experience in project management (a plus).Experience teaching and developing curricula in higher education programs.
Experience with Canvas LMS.
Bilingual in English and Spanish (fluent) with the ability to communicate complex information simply, both verbally and written required.
