    What You Will Be Doing:


    As a Senior Packaging Engineer, you'll lead the planning, execution, and coordination of packaging process engineering functions across the spectrum of packaging equipment used to produce wet and dry pet foods, pet treats, and cat litter.

    Your expertise in food processing technology, production systems, quality/sanitation, and equipment design will ensure efficient and effective packaging processes.


    Key Responsibilities:
    Provide packaging engineering process design and review for capital projects, ensuring adherence to standards and best practices.

    Coordinate with external consultants and suppliers, leveraging broad knowledge of packaging specialties.

    Support continuous improvement efforts and offer technical assistance to operating facilities.

    Utilize expertise in line balancing, equipment specification, and testing processes.

    Contribute to developing and refining technical guidelines, standards, and specifications.

    Collaborate seamlessly with cross-functional teams to achieve project goals.


    Required Skills & Experience:
    Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related field preferred.

    Minimum of 5 years of packaging equipment engineering experience in manufacturing, industrial, military, or related environments.

    Willingness to travel up to 30% to equipment suppliers and construction sites for field data gathering and project-related activities.


    Pay:
    $ $87 /hr.

    However, we are not able to provide sponsorship at this time or accept candidates who would require a corp-to-corp agreement.
