Description

The IT service supports the employees at FIR in their daily work, plans, configures, operates and monitors the network in cooperation with the RWTH Aachen data center. To expand our team, we are currently looking for a specialist in computer science for system integration (m/f/d).

These are your tasks:

Administration, maintenance and ensuring smooth operation of internal networks, server landscape and IT solutions
Installation, configuration and maintenance of server systems, mobile devices, workstations and peripherals
Management of permissions and objects in Active Directory and MS365
Proactive monitoring, troubleshooting and error analysis in the network
Consulting and supporting users in the helpdesk
Creation and maintenance of technical documentation

This is what you should bring:

Completed training as a specialist in computer science for system integration (or equivalent) with several years of professional experience
Experience in network technology and administration with Active Directory, DNS, DHCP
Experience in administration of Microsoft systems
Proficient in Microsoft 365, Intune and automation
Experience in setting up peripheral devices such as laptops, computers, printers, smartphones, etc.
Excellent knowledge of PC hardware, communication technology and current Windows operating systems (Windows
