About the Role
We are currently seeking a "Student Assistant in Development (m/f/d)" for our interdisciplinary development team "Land Periscopes and Surveillance Systems" at our location in Oberkochen.
The interdisciplinary team develops reconnaissance and observation systems for vehicles and stationary applications in both civilian and military sectors. The team creates system designs based on customer requirements and defines and implements development components in coordination with existing sensors and solutions at HENSOLDT. The development tasks include mechanics, electronics, software, and potentially optics. The team also supports the integration and verification of products with the customer.
Your Responsibilities
- Assisting in the setup of a gyroscope test stand
- Identifying and researching suitable electrical components
- Assisting in the creation of simple mounts
- Selecting appropriate wiring (potentially for other projects as well)
- Commissioning the test stand with minor functional tests
- Assisting with measurement execution, evaluation, and documentation of results
- Supporting the creation of specifications
