Position:
Warehouse Specialist


As a warehouse specialist at Gauley Bridge, your main responsibility is to ensure that goods are delivered to our customers in a professional manner.

A significant part of your training will focus on receiving goods, where you will be responsible for daily inspections and recording of incoming goods.

Due to the volume of goods and distances within the facility, the use of a forklift is often necessary. Therefore, our apprentices will also obtain a forklift and crane operator license, which will greatly facilitate their daily work. The main focus of the training will be on loading and unloading goods. This requires physical fitness, logical thinking, and the ability to work in all weather conditions.


Additional qualifications after training:


After completing the training as a warehouse specialist, you have the opportunity to extend your training for one year and become a certified specialist in warehouse logistics.

It is also possible to directly enter the workforce as a certified specialist in warehouse logistics.

After completing the training, you can also pursue a master's degree and further your education as a business manager or specialist.


Requirements for this position:

  • You have at least a secondary school diploma.
  • You enjoy handson work and are not afraid of working in bad weather.
  • You can remain calm in stressful situations.
  • You work well in a team, but can also work independently.
The training duration is 2 years and the vocational school is located in Oldenburg.
