Job Description:

Since 1999, Statkraft has been trading electricity, gas, certificates, and a wide range of structured products in Germany.

We are the largest marketer of renewable energy in Germany and also operate ten hydropower plants, four gas-fired power plants, and two biomass cogeneration plants.

To strengthen our team in Düsseldorf, we are looking for a
Purchaser for Biomass Fuels (m/f/d) as soon as possible:

  • Your main tasks include ensuring the supply of our power plants with woody biomass. You are responsible for developing our supplier portfolio through supplier acquisition, exploring alternative sources of supply, and obtaining and reviewing offers.
  • You are the main contact for our suppliers and service providers, maintain these contractual partners, and regularly visit them onsite.
  • You analyze procurement markets in Germany and Europe, monitor changes in technical and legal framework conditions, and drive the systematic development of procurement processes.
