Geoinformation Systems Officer (m/f/d) in Rockford, TN:


Your responsibilities:


  • A successfully completed university degree in geoinformatics, geosciences, information technology with a focus on geoinformation systems, business informatics, other relevant natural sciences or a comparable degree
  • Basic knowledge in the field of geodata infrastructures, metadata and web applications
  • Indepth knowledge of working with geoinformation systems (ArcMap and ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Online, AutoCAD applications, desirable: FME, ArcGIS CityEngine, ArcGIS Urban)
  • Knowledge of municipal specialist applications, e.g. road, tree, green space cadastre and order management (preferably with pitKommunal)
  • Experience in the development and/or application of databases and digital processes
  • Basic knowledge of project management and the structure/organization of a municipal administration
  • Analytical and strategic thinking
  • Initiative and a selfdirected, goaloriented work style with a focus on customer service
  • Strong communication skills, networking competence and assertiveness

Your tasks:


  • Operational tasks in geodata management (GDI)
  • Establishment, administration and ongoing maintenance of the municipal specialist applications under your responsibility
  • Establishment of a mapbased municipal data platform; a municipal digital twin
  • Development and implementation of concepts with databased applications (e.g. ArcGIS data management and administration)
  • Establishment, ongoing development and maintenance of the geodatabase,
