    Job Title:
    Senior Accountant (Temp to Hire)

    Work Schedule:
    On-site 3 days a week (Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays); Remote on Mondays and Fridays


    Job Description:


    As a Senior Accountant, you will play a crucial role in ensuring contract administration accuracy and compliance, supporting management with reporting on practice operations, and overseeing financial statements critical for enterprise leadership decision-making.

    This position offers an opportunity to lead and mentor a team of accountants while driving process improvements and maintaining strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.


    Responsibilities:

    • Coordinate and review work completed by the staff accounting team.
    • Review monthly journal entries and account analysis to ensure accuracy.
    • Provide monthovermonth market variance explanations.
    • Interact with various internal and external stakeholders.
    • Review monthly balance sheet account reconciliations.
    • Review and approve requests for provider payments.
    • Mentor and lead a team of accountants.
    • Provide technical trainings for team members.
    • Maintain professionalism to meet departmentestablished deadlines.
    • Cultivate relationships with peer teams, field teams, and hospital teams.
    • Identify areas for continued process improvements.

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or other businessrelated fields.
    • Minimum of 5 years of progressive accounting experience with supervisory experience.
