    Job Description

    Job DescriptionSenior Accountant position with travel company. Need to have strong Excel experience and experience in travel, hospitality, or banking. Fully in office.

    PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
    • Accounts Receivable
      • Work with team to secure payments by verifying and posting receipts and resolving discrepancies
      • Work with agents to ensure correct amounts are collected from clients and vendors in a timely manner.
    • General Accounting
      • Oversee vendor and client open balance reporting and provide regular analysis of aging
      • Submit monthly collection files
      • Prepare and distribute various Management Reports
      • Prepare journal entries
    • Reconciliations
      • Banking & Merchant Processing
      • Credit card accounts
      • Partnership payments
      • Other Balance sheet accounts
    • Budgets and Financials
      • Prepare monthly financial package and supplemental schedules
      • Analyze & report on budget variances
      • Prepare weekly & monthly PowerPoint presentation for Leadership
      • Work with CFO and other Leadership to prepare annual budget
    • Taxes
      • Annual Reports, Personality Tax, 1099's, other business tax filings
