    Description

    Essential Functions:

    • Key responsibilities include talent acquisition, performance management, benefits administration, and compliance.
    • Lead benefits administrator and manager for all applicable employees, including health insurance, 401k, life insurance, commuting benefits, educational assistance.
    • Manage daily people operations throughout the employee lifecycle for all employees and contractors.
    • Develop, implement and monitor performance review cycle for specific employee groups.
    • Develop and roll out new policies, programs, and training as needed. Oversee the development and maintenance of People programs, policies & procedures, and audit readiness across our workforce.
    • Monitor new laws and regulations related to HR compliance and maintain employee handbooks in partnership with employment counsel
    • Partner with the HRIS team to maintain data integrity, develop workflows, update system automations, rollout training and guides for managers and employees
    • Build a metrics-driven organization that leverages reporting, dashboards, and tracking to provide actionable insight on service delivery, operations accuracy, and effectiveness
    • Experience handling and resolving employee relations matters promptly and effectively, partnering with legal counsel as needed. Conduct comprehensive and impartial investigations with efficiency and objectivity.
    • Partner closely with Finance, IT, and external vendors to lead and influence all HR operations.
    • Oversee HRIS systems and processes to ensure accurate and timely data management and reporting.
    • Analyze HR metrics and trends to identify areas for improvement and inform decision-making.
    • Continuously evaluate and streamline HR processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
    • Partner with hiring managers to identify talent needs and develop recruitment strategies to attract top talent.
    • Foster a positive work environment by promoting open communication, teamwork, and employee engagement initiatives.
    • Lead efforts to address employee feedback, concerns, and grievances quickly and effectively.

    Requirements:

    • The ideal candidate should have a Bachelor's degree, 8+ years of HR experience, strong interpersonal and communication skills, project management abilities, and a deep understanding of HR disciplines and employment laws.
    • An ability to identify and execute process improvements to make systems more streamlined and efficient.
    • An ability to navigate personnel relations with both empathy and sound judgment.
    • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
    • Superb attention to detail is a must.
    • Must be willing to commute to our Newark, NJ offices 3x/week.
