    Description

    Position: Marketing Web Security Engineer

    Compensation Salary range: $98,700 - $112,000 annually, based on experience and location.

    Position Overview

    As a Marketing Web Security Engineer, you will be at the forefront of building and maintaining secure, responsive websites that align with our mission. You'll work closely with the Chief Marketing Officer, the VP of Marketing Digital Automation, and our web design team to create and update websites for various product divisions and programs.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Ensure consistent and timely attendance in accordance with company policies.
    • Collaborate with marketing leaders to design, build, and maintain secure websites for our diverse range of products and services.
    • Develop websites with a strong focus on security, adhering to industry best practices like OWASP Top 10.
    • Conduct security audits, code reviews, and comprehensive testing to identify and mitigate potential risks.
    • Integrate third-party tools, such as lead capture forms, analytics, and email marketing platforms, into our websites.
    • Stay informed about the latest web development trends and security technologies.
    • Provide training and support to marketing team members on website management and content updates.
    • Participate in strategic initiatives and complete other related duties as assigned.

    Skills and Qualifications

    • Strong knowledge of web security concepts, including OWASP Top 10 vulnerabilities and secure coding practices.
    • Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP.
    • Experience with secure software development lifecycle (SDLC) methodologies and version control systems like Git.
    • Familiarity with cloud hosting platforms and content delivery networks (CDNs).

    Education and Experience

    • Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
    • Demonstrated experience in developing and maintaining WordPress websites, including themes, plugins, and customizations.
    • Knowledge of search engine optimization (SEO) and web analytics tools.
    • Certifications in web security (e.g., OWASP, SANS, or CompTIA Security+) are preferred.
