    Description
    Glocomms is partnered with an industry-leading media platform seeking to bring on

    a talented and experienced Senior Security Engineer to join its growing Payments technology team.

    The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field, along with 5-7 years of proven experience in a security engineering role, preferably in FinTech and/or the payment industry.

    The Senior Security Engineer should possess strong knowledge of security protocols, cryptography, authentication, and authorization, as well as hands-on experience with security technologies and tools, including firewalls, IDS/IPS, SIEM, and endpoint protection.


    Key Responsibilities:
    Design, implement, and maintain security solutions to protect the company's infrastructure and data
    Monitor and analyze security events using SIEM tools to detect and respond to threats
    Develop and maintain security policies, procedures, and standards
    Conduct security assessments and penetration tests to identify and remediate vulnerabilities
    Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement security best practices
    Provide technical guidance and support to junior members of the security team

    Basic

    Qualifications:

    Qualifications:
    B.S. or advanced degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.
    Demonstrate 5-7 years of successful experience in security engineering, with a preference for candidates who have worked in the payment industry
    Exhibit a deep understanding of security protocols, cryptography, authentication, and authorization
    Have practical experience with security technologies and tools, including firewalls, IDS/IPS, SIEM, and endpoint protection
    Possess strong analytical and problem-solving abilities

    Candidates must be willing to work on-site at the company's flagship office in San Jose, CA.
