As a Technician at Mosquito & Pest Authority, you will use proven products and techniques on both commercial and residential properties.

A qualified pest control technician should be confident in their ability to handle multiple duties and responsibilities on any given workday.

The primary responsibility of a pest control technician is to detect and eliminate unwelcome pests from homes and businesses. If you're dedicated to impeccable client service and enjoy physical work, this is a great opportunity for you


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Conducting thorough interior and exterior inspections to locate dangerous pests
  • Offering sound advice on both chemical and natural pest control remediation options
  • Providing estimates for onetime treatments and continual maintenance
  • Setting traps for rodents
  • Spraying perimeters of homes and structures for termites, ants and other insects
  • Safe and efficient removal of wasp, hornet and bees nests
  • Laying down bait pellets to eliminate rats and mice
  • Covering holes with foam, mesh and wood to hinder rodent entry
  • Recommending products and services for effective pest control
  • Responds to basic customer inquiries and requests and notifies the office of complaints or issues to ensure timely resolution.
  • Complete job documentation accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Work a flexible schedule as required to meet weekly responsibilities, including occasional weekend hours.
  • Maintain a clean company vehicle and operate a vehicle safely
  • Drive company vehicle to client sites to provide services in a professional, safe and friendly manner.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required:

  • High School graduate / GED
  • Valid Driver's license with excellent driving record
  • General pest control knowledge required
  • The job requires standing, walking, moving, climbing, carrying, bending, kneeling, reaching, handling, pushing, climbing on ladders and pulling
  • Must be available to work extended hours and weekends when necessary

Additional Requirements:

  • Must have a valid Driver's License
  • Willingness to undergo a background check
  • 5 + Years of Experience
