The primary responsibility of a pest control technician is to detect and eliminate unwelcome pests from homes and businesses. If you're dedicated to impeccable client service and enjoy physical work, this is a great opportunity for youEssential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Conducting thorough interior and exterior inspections to locate dangerous pests
- Offering sound advice on both chemical and natural pest control remediation options
- Providing estimates for onetime treatments and continual maintenance
- Setting traps for rodents
- Spraying perimeters of homes and structures for termites, ants and other insects
- Safe and efficient removal of wasp, hornet and bees nests
- Laying down bait pellets to eliminate rats and mice
- Covering holes with foam, mesh and wood to hinder rodent entry
- Recommending products and services for effective pest control
- Responds to basic customer inquiries and requests and notifies the office of complaints or issues to ensure timely resolution.
- Complete job documentation accurately and in a timely manner.
- Work a flexible schedule as required to meet weekly responsibilities, including occasional weekend hours.
- Maintain a clean company vehicle and operate a vehicle safely
- Drive company vehicle to client sites to provide services in a professional, safe and friendly manner.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required:
- High School graduate / GED
- Valid Driver's license with excellent driving record
- General pest control knowledge required
- The job requires standing, walking, moving, climbing, carrying, bending, kneeling, reaching, handling, pushing, climbing on ladders and pulling
- Must be available to work extended hours and weekends when necessary
Additional Requirements:
- Must have a valid Driver's License
- Willingness to undergo a background check
- 5 + Years of Experience
