    Job DescriptionJuno Search Partners is a certified women-founded and women-led talent solutions firm with extensive experience in the placement of accounting, administrative, finance, human resources, legal, marketing, operations, and technology candidates nationwide.
    Accounting AssociateThe position of the Accounting Associate will be primarily, but not limited to, responsible for supporting the outsourced accounting department and the organization with membership renewal and sponsorship invoice processing and collections.


    Key Duties & Responsibilities:


    • Work in tandem with the accounting and membership departments to create membership renewal invoices in GrowthZone (CRM)
    • Work with the membership department to distribute membership renewal invoices every month, while also preparing invoices for sponsorship on an as-needed basis
    • Document and enter all membership communications regarding invoices, transactions, payments, and all member interactions in GrowthZone
    • Send out invoice payment links and invoices to members via GrowthZone and/or email as necessary
    • Lead collection efforts for up to ninety (90) days after invoice date. After 90 days, work in tandem with the department leads on further plan of action for collection. Collection efforts may include both email and phone outreach
    • Update member information including address, contacts, name changes etc. in GrowthZone.
    • Reconcile the revenue collected in the CRM with QuickBooks on a weekly, monthly, and yearly basis with outside accounting firm.
    • Deliver and pick up documents from outside accounting firm once a week, transportation costs reimbursed through expense report.
    • May support preparation of monthly reports, general bookkeeping, and work on special projects.
    • Open and scan mail as necessary, to the COO and executive assistant, and file bills in online repository. May support A/P payment process.
    • Support the organization during organizational programs, duties as assigned.
      Minimum Qualifications
    • An Associate's degree is required. Bachelor's degree in business or related field is a plus.
    • Minimum of three to five years of experience in an accounting clerk role, preferably in the life science/biotech industry.
    • Experience working with customers is a plus.
    • Possess a high level of customer service skills.
    • Must have a high level of attention to detail to ensure accuracy and completeness in all work
    • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
    • Strong organizational, time-management, and problem-solving skills and ability to meet tight deadlines.
    • Demonstrated ability to show initiative and to be a self-motivated, innovative, and independent thinker.
    • Ability to be resourceful on independent projects.
    • Exceptional follow-up and follow-through skills.
    • Be a team player.
    • Proficient in MS Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook, database management
    • GrowthZone experience is highly preferred (or similar CRM; such as Salesforce)
    • Working knowledge of office equipment.
