    Description



    Who We Are:

    The Electronics Group in the Purchasing Department oversees solicitation, negotiation, award, and documentation of purchase orders in compliance with internal policies and Government regulations.



    Role Objectives:
    • Ensure smooth day-to-day operations by assigning requisitions, providing guidance, and resolving issues promptly.
    • Lead group meetings to set priorities, educate on purchasing policies, collaborate with vendors, and support other departments.
    • Process complex orders efficiently, back up fellow buyers, and focus on enhancing work efficiency.
    • Participate in management meetings, provide feedback, and contribute to policy updates.
    • Handle personnel matters to maintain a positive working environment.


    Daily and Monthly Responsibilities:
    • Offer guidance on order-related issues throughout the process.
    • Communicate with end users to manage priorities and address concerns effectively.
    • Process intricate orders and provide backup support.
    • Conduct one-on-one meetings with team members, host group sessions, and deliver training.


    Requirements:
    • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business or supply chain field; MBA preferred.
    • 5+ years of experience in Government contract administration, knowledge of FAR and DFARs.
    • Minimum 2 years in a managerial role.
    • Proficiency in written and oral communication, Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Word.
    • Valid driver's license is a must.


    Special Requirements:

    Must be a U.S. person (i.e., U.S. citizen, non-U.S. citizen national, lawful permanent resident, asylee, or refugee) due to ITAR work in section.
