    About the Role

    Are you a detail-oriented individual with a passion for numbers and a desire to kickstart your career in accounting? We invite you to apply for our Entry-Level Accounting Clerk position

    The Accounting Coordinator will report directly to the Manager of Audit and Accounting. The Administrative Assistant I will be responsible for providing both accounting and administrative support to the Blue Sky Outsourcing department.

    Responsibilities

  • Monitoring the bank website for customer payments, match them with the corresponding invoices, and enter the payment information into QuickBooks.
  • Exporting and print all checks from Blue Sky Solution into QuickBooks for the Blue Sky Administration staff and maintain the inventory of blank checks.
  • Generating reports from Quickbooks on a monthly basis and sending voided checks and deposit slips to the Finance department.
  • Preparing invoices for all Private funds as well as verifying their payments.
  • Processing all company expenses for payment by assigning payment codes and obtaining approvals.
  • Providing back up support in answering the main phone number and transferring the calls to the correct staff member.
  • Learning the basics of Blue Sky Compliance to assist the staff when necessary.
  • Requirements

  • Hold an Associate's in Business or a Diploma/Certificate from Secretarial School, or business experience.
  • Demonstrate computer literacy with aptitude in the Microsoft Office Suite, specifically in Word, Excel, and Outlook. Possess a basic understanding of Q/A functions and the development of test cases for both positive and negative results.
  • Able to demonstrate excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Be a critical thinker and problem solver with an exceptional attention to detail. Be a self-starter and passionate in driving for results.
  • Able to show a propensity to be highly organized and detail oriented
