Summary:UP&E's Live Action Global Franchise Strategy team drives the global vision and strategic development and execution of franchise strategy and marketing plans to cultivate brand growth and drive revenue throughout the franchise ecosystem. We are a team of makers, thinkers, leaders and rebels whose passion is to ignite ideas every day, in a culture that celebrates creativity, fresh thinking, executional excellence and each other.

The Manager, Franchise Strategy is responsible for supporting the growth and development of Universal's live-action film and television properties.

Key functions include creation and execution of both strategy and marketing plans, as well as ongoing brand management in partnership with global business teams.


Responsibilities include:


_ Franchise Strategy, Marketing & Development:_

  • Assist in the development of longterm global franchise strategies for Universal's liveaction film and television properties
  • Conduct brand studies, analyze consumer insights, and examine the competitive landscape
  • Lead overarching development and execution of innovative marketing campaigns for priority IP
  • Liaise with global Franchise Management & Theatrical Brand Marketing, and regional Franchise and Consumer Products partners to ensure global alignment and share out key updates

_ Brand Stewardship:
_


  • Work with key stakeholders (internal and external) to ensure bestinclass representation of brands through partnership and approvals
  • Develop strategy & creative briefs and partner with creative and product development teams to ideate authentic and merchandisable brand extensions and refreshes
  • Represent UP&E opportunities and drive franchise coordination across key crosscompany businesses
  • Provide strategic support to asset management with Theatrical Brand Marketing and Global Asset Management team

_ Communication & Collaboration:
_


  • Create and share crossdivisional presentations and communications
  • Develop and lead rollout of brand guardrails, reference and tools
  • Organize and present pitch meetings internally and externally

_ Professional Leadership:
_


  • Serve as a champion for bestinclass culture with an emphasis on collaboration, innovation and inclusion
  • Cultivate strong relationships with key internal and external partners

Qualifications Qualifications/Requirements**:


  • 3+ years' experience; Franchise Management or Brand Marketing preferred _(HR, does 3+ sound right? Just wanted to doublecheck)_
  • Keynote experience is required

Desired Characteristics:


  • Bachelor's Degree preferred in marketing or related field
  • Experience working with entertainment brands is a plus
  • Proven presentations skills with executive presence and leadership
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to think strategically and conceptually
  • Comfortable adapting to change in a continuously evolving environment

Hybrid: This position has been designated as hybrid, generally contributing from the office a minimum of three days per week.

Salary range:
$80,000 - $100,000 (bonus eligible)
