Job DescriptionWe are seeking an IT Business Relationship Manager for a contract-to-hire in Littleton CO.This role will be onsite/in the office Monday-Friday during normal business hours (no remote options) and will be the Liaison between the IT departments and the Business to ensure projects and products are moving in the right direction.
This is a highly visible role in the organization that often brings promotional opportunities within the organization.If you have performed in roles such as Project Coordinator, Business Analyst, IT Administrator, or even as an IT Recruiter who truly understands the SDLC and IT Delivery processes, and are comfortable speaking with all levels of an orginzation (all the way to the executive level), let's talk about this role The responsibilities are as follows: Collaboration between IT and Business Partners to ensure requests are prioritized, communicated and transparent from intake to delivery.
Provide/facilitate road mapping to support overall business strategies for various business units.Manage SDLC intake and prioritization of assigned Projects/Programs, including business case justification and working with internal customers to obtain and capture detailed featuresWork closely with program managers and IT delivery teams for feature/project delivery.
Interface and partner with Business Sponsors as needed (discovery, design review and approvals, implementation and communication).Recommends the final course of action among several alternatives for enhancements to operational policies, procedures, and systems.
Maintains and applies broad knowledge of practices and procedures in area of expertise. Keeps abreast of technological innovations in the information technology industry.Will provide more forward-thinking on product introduction/development and business processes.
Creates and establishes performance metrics to determine acceptable levels of qualify for various business functions and units.
Meets with outside vendors to determine the viability of products being considered to improve all area of operational efficiency.
Engages in the typical responsibilities of a manager requiring planning, evaluating, organizing, integrating, and controlling.
QualificationsEducation:
BA/BS in a business or a technical discipline (information systems, engineering, computer science, finance, accounting) with 4+ years of experience and/or related experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience
Skills and qualifications:
Project experience utilizing Agile project methodologies for technical or software development.
Experience interfacing and communicating with Executives about Information Technology projects.
Experience analyzing and solving complex business problems.
Understanding of IT portfolio management and evaluating project criteria on ROI, strategic alignment, cost savings, and suitability.
Be self-motivated with the ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to build strong relationships; possess excellent interpersonal skills and communication skills, including written, verbal, and presentation skills.
Eliciting and grooming well-defined problem/opportunity statements and business value.
Interfacing with all levels of an organization, from individual contributors to C-suite executives.
Improving existing processes and acting as a champion for change.
Navigating a large IT department with a high number of technologies and technical disciplines.
Portfolio Management, Enterprise Prioritization, and Delivery Planning.
Facilitating innovation in business process and technical solution delivery.
Additional InformationThis contract-to-hire role will be located onsite in the Littleton area. This role will be performed in the office during normal business hours Monday-Friday (there are no remote options). Upon conversion to a permanent employee after the contract duration, this role will offer a comprehensive benefits package and a salary range of $95,000-$120,000 per year (depending on experience)
