    Description

    Starr Regional Medical Center is currently looking for talent to join our team as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the Emergency Department. This is a permanent full-time position.

    Core competencies include:

    • Performing initial and ongoing assessments of patient's condition
    • Developing a care plan tailored to patient's needs and preferences
    • Carrying out interventions such as medication administration and clinical treatments
    • Documenting patient care
    • Monitoring and communicating patient condition effectively
    • Assisting patients with daily activities
    • Coordinating patient care across disciplines
    • Educating patients and families
    • Advocating for patient well-being

    Minimum Education:
    Associate's degree in Nursing: Required
    Bachelor's degree in Nursing: Preferred

    Required Licenses:
    Registered Nurse License in the State of TN or compact state

    Certifications:
    Required at the time of hire: Basic Life Support (BLS)
    Required within 6 months of hire or department transfer: Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)

    Required Skills:
    Strong critical thinking skills, ability to work independently in stressful situations
