- Responsible for developing and managing a book of Non-Admitted Primary Casualty business.
- Underwrite and produce profitable business within the authority granted and consistent with company goals.
- Maintain agency relationships, develop new relationships and contribute where possible to the company's goals and objectives.
- Effectively express information and ideas clearly through spoken, written, and electronic means.
- Work with local, regional, and home office management to renew accounts annually.
- Executing on marketing strategy including Client & Broker relations - sales calls and in-person meetings.
- Ability to successfully negotiate on all levels with both internal and external partners and nurture key producer relations.
- 7 – 15+ plus years of E&S Commercial Casualty Underwriting experience
- 5+ years of experience working with wholesale brokers in a defined region
- Proven track record of building strong Broker Relations
- Strong communication, analytical skills, and business acumen
- Excellent problem solving & decision-making skills
- Bachelor's Degree is strongly desired.
- $160,000 to $200,000+ annual base salary plus 10 – 30% Target Bonus
