Summary
This position is eligible for the Education Debt Reduction Program (EDRP), a student loan payment reimbursement program.
You must meet specific individual eligibility requirements in accordance with VHA policy and submit your EDRP application within four months of appointment.
Approval, award amount (up to $200,000) and eligibility period (one to five years) are determined by the VHA Education Loan Repayment Services program office after complete review of the EDRP application.
Duties
RECRUITMENT AND RELOCATION INCENTIVES UP TO $17, AVAILABLE FOR HIGHLY QUALIFIED CANDIDATESVA offers a comprehensive total rewards package: VA Nurse Total RewardsThe Staff Nurse demonstrates leadership in delivering and improving holistic care through collaborative strategies with others. The Staff Nurse provides direct and indirect nursing care to patients and families in a nursing care unit/area. He/she is accountable for adhering to established policies, standards of care and standards of practice. The Staff Nurse demonstrates leadership when providing and improving patient care. The incumbent reports directly to the Nurse Manager of the patient care unit/area. The Staff Nurse serves as a role model when functioning as team leader or charge nurse under the supervision of the Nurse Manager or designee.
