    Job Description for Product Quality Engineer:

    We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Product Quality Engineer to join our team. As a key member of the Product Quality Engineering department, you will be instrumental in ensuring that all our products comply with relevant regulations and standards, thereby contributing to the continued success and growth of our client's company.

    Responsibilities for Product Quality Engineer:

    • Research and analyze regulatory requirements for new and existing product categories.
    • Collaborate with third-party labs to address compliance inquiries and ensure product adherence to regulatory standards.
    • Provide technical support and guidance to design engineers regarding compliance requirements during the product development process.
    • Ensure all company products meet applicable regulations, enabling their sale in target markets.
    • Communicate complex regulatory requirements in a clear and concise manner to internal stakeholders.
    • Develop and implement processes to streamline compliance procedures and improve efficiency.
    • Manage compliance testing budget effectively, identifying cost-saving opportunities where possible.
    • Stay up-to-date with regulatory changes and industry standards, participating in relevant committees or forums as necessary.
    • Conduct audits of finished goods and oversee in-process audits to ensure compliance with regulations.
    • Support UL testing for specific product components such as Lithium Ion batteries, chargers, e-bikes, and e-scooters.
    • Assist in launching products into new international markets by summarizing regulatory requirements and providing necessary support.

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Operations or Mechanical Engineering.
    • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a compliance or quality assurance role.
    • Strong understanding of regulatory standards and requirements.
    • Experience working with international suppliers and conducting international travel.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and manipulation.
    • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information effectively.
    • Proven ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams.
    • Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
