    Description


    Job duties - Work on engineering and software development of Siden's content distribution and distributed cloud system - intelligently distributing video content to millions of users.

    Work on software products supporting over-the-top (OTT)


    Video and other software applications in a distributed cloud system, leading to a 5-10x Internet distribution capacity expansion for wireless operators.

    Work on software development and implementation of Content Delivery Network (CDN) architectures and protocol driven software systems, including proxies, caches, edge compute, Domain Name Systems (DNS) services, load balancing, and leading protocol development and construction.

    Remote position - work from anywhere in U.S.Education and Experience required - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Telecommunication Systems Management, or a closely-related discipline and 5 years of experience as a software engineer.

    Background - 3 years of experience with telecom systems.

    5 years of experience in the development, customization, and testing of application software for a cloud based, mobile gateway platform.

    Experience with the implementation of protocol driven systems, including proxies, caches, DNS, load balancing, and leading protocol development and construction.

    Experience with software engineering, containerization, and familiarity with highly distributed cloud workloads. Understanding of microservices architectures, concurrency patterns and memory management, databases, and building flexible, scalable, high-performing, extensible, and testable systems. Knowledge of distributed systems. Experience with software infrastructure. Experience with video services and interfacing wireless LTE / 5G networks.
