    Our team in Salt Lake City currently has an opening for a Driver
    YOUR ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Deliverpackaged dry or liquid materials LTL or TL to customers on Brenntagvehicles. Use air diaphragm pump as necessary on delivery.
    • Positiontrailer in loading area and chock wheels to ensure safe loading andunloading.
    • Ensureinternal and external valves are closed prior to loading and unloading.
    • Will-callproduct from vendors destined for Brenntag warehouse or for directdelivery to customers.
    • Priorto leaving Brenntag, ensure that the product(s) loaded onto the truckmatch the delivery paperwork.
    • Reviewbills of lading at point of delivery to ensure that the correct product isdelivered and that all special delivery instructions are followed.
    • Complywith all DOT packaging, labeling, marking, loading and safety procedures
    • Followall operating procedures and work instructions.
    • Performthe required DOT pre-inspection of the dispatched vehicle daily and reportitems requiring repairs to the dispatcher.
    • Secureevery load in accordance with company policy and DOT regulations.
    • Ensurethe correct placards are affixed in accordance with 49 CFR.
    • Monitorload for leaks during transportation. In the event of a leak or release ofproduct, follow Brenntag Pacific's emergency response procedure.
    • Adhereto all facility safety policies and procedures when on customer or vendorproperty.
    • Staywith the truck at all times while loading or unloading.
    • Accuratelycomplete, deliver and/or obtain necessary documentation includingsignatures, bills of lading, C of A's and C of C's as applicable.
    • Maintaina Driver's Daily Log Book (Samsara) per DOT, using 7 days 60 hours rule.
    • Remainin communication with supervisor and/or dispatcher using radio, Samsara ortelephone to receive delivery instructions.
    • Maintaintruck in a clean, orderly and safe manner.
    • Maintaingood housekeeping practices throughout the facility.
    • RepresentBrenntag Pacific in a professional manner.
    • Attendall required training when scheduled unless absent from work.
    • Observe,follow and enforce all Brenntag Policies and Procedures.
    • Otherresponsibilities as assigned.
    • Thisjob has no supervisory responsibilities.

    YOUR PROFILE

    Education and Experience:
    • Highschool diploma or general education degree (GED), or one-year relatedexperience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education andexperience.
    • Abilityto read, write and speak the English language
    • Possessat least one-year experience working with chemicals.
    • Mustpossess the required training in Tanker Endorsement and Bulk Training.
    • Mustpossess a Class "A" CDL with Hazmat Endorsement.
    • Mustpossess a current medical card .
    • Musthave a clean driving record.
    • Abilityto operate a tractor, trailer and forklift safely and efficiently.Forklift certification required.
    • Abilityto add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure.
    • Abilityto read, comprehend and carry out detailed and simple instructions andwrite simple correspondence.
    • Mustmeet PFT requirements to wear a respirator. Cannot have any facial hairthat may interfere with a respirator.
    • Willingnessto work overtime or weekends as needed.
