    **Description**

    **Position Description:**

    Our Chicago Transportation team is looking for an experienced civil engineer-in-training to join our Suburban Chicago office in Warrenville. Interested candidates must have a willingness to perform general transportation design tasks and support various project managers as required.

    **Position Requirements:**

    BS degree in Civil Engineering

    EIT with a desire to become a licensed Engineer

    2 or more years of relevant Transportation design engineering experience, including:

    + Traffic Impact Analysis Studies

    + Corridor Studies

    + Private sector experience

    Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills

    Outstanding organizational skills

    Desire and ability to help train young professionals

    Strong sense of urgency and self-initiative to meet client deadlines

    Ability to work both independently and as part of a team

    Ability to manage multiple projects and deliverables simultaneously

    Proficiency in MicroStation and Synchro

    Previous Transportation experience with a civil engineering design firm
