    Description

    Position Overview

    Job Title: General Internal Medicine
    Salary Range: The base pay for this position is $252,000 - $272,400 and can be negotiated annually. Additional compensation options available.

    Company Overview

    The University of California, San Diego's Department of Medicine is currently seeking Academic Physicians to join the ambulatory clinical practice at UCSD General Internal Medicine.

    We are looking for dedicated physicians who can provide exceptional patient care while participating in medical education and quality improvement initiatives.

    The ideal candidates will be involved in training, teaching, patient care, and research. Those who are adaptable to new technologies, interested in chronic disease management, and research activities are encouraged to apply.

    The appointment and series will be determined based on the candidate's background and experience. Self-funded appointments may be required.

    Membership in the Health Sciences Compensation Plan comes with professional activity limitations and prohibits clinical moonlighting.

    Qualifications

    Basic Requirements: Candidates need to have an MD, DO or equivalent, and be Board certified or Board eligible in Internal Medicine. They must also be eligible for a California medical license or equivalent certification.
