We are the innovative, growing and child-oriented children's hospital in the west of Hamburg. The AKK Altona Children's Hospital gGmbH is a non-profit children's hospital with 252 beds. As a subsidiary of the University Medical Center Hamburg-Eppendorf (UKE) and an academic teaching hospital, we participate in the clinical education of students. Each year, we treat full and partial inpatient cases and provide outpatient care to children and adolescents from all over Germany at AKK.

We are an interdisciplinary team of doctors, health and pediatric nurses, and therapists who ensure 'round-the-clock' medical treatment and nursing and therapeutic care for our patients.
