Roush is seeking Warehouse Manager for our facility in Livonia, MI to lead a 50+ person kitting and warehousing operation with approximately $100M of active annual inventory. The role will manage teams across light assembly, retail shipping, material picking, and inventory operations across multiple buildings. The Warehouse Manager will work with multiple departments and business units across Roush to launch, manage, and control inventory for various programs and product lines in addition to long-term corporate storage and rolling stock.
**The Warehouse Manager will:**
Create a safe, disciplined, and quality-focused work environment
Develop and implement processes and projects to achieve 100% safety, 100% quality, 98% on-time delivery, and 90% utilization across both the kitting and warehousing operations
Manage manpower and budget to meet forecasted demand and customer service targets at best possible cost
Build a high-performing team that provides excellent customer service (to internal and external customers) and adapts to changing requirements from the business
Develop career pathways for top performers and create a talent pipeline both into the business and up within the business
Drive a culture of continuous improvement that prioritizes safety, quality, delivery, and cost and is always looking for new and better ways to perform
Create and deliver training for necessary warehouse processes and safety policies
Lead and support all safety programs and OSHA compliance to ensure a safe working environment
Enforce general company and building-specific policies through coaching and disciplinary documentation
**The Warehouse Manager will have:**
Must be a current Roush employee
Bachelors degree in supply chain, logistics, business administration or related field
5 years of warehouse management experience, including distribution, retail shipping and working in an Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system
Ability to work independently and take ownership of warehouse operations
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
General knowledge of automotive components
Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite
Skills in change management strategies to drive continuous improvement
**The Warehouse Manager may also have:**
Masters degree in related field preferred
Hazardous material training and handling
Knowledge of Six Sigma principles
