Position: Cost Accountant
Location: Fort Worth, TX
Job Description: The Cost Accountant will develop, manage, implement, and maintain production standards, policies, and procedures.
Responsibilities include:
+ Provides expert administrative support to the production team.
+ Streamlines and improves efficiency of processes and procedures.
+ Collaborates with Project Managers Production Team Leaders, and Supply Chain.
+ Oversees the costs of materials and other goods, services, and activities.
+ Oversees Raw Material, Finished Goods, and Fixed Assets Inventory counts.
+ Unifies processes and procedures across all ledgers.
+ Tracks production supply spending and ensures timely closing of end of month for production.
+ Assure compliance of daily activities with effective measurements in place including performance of AP resources.
Requirements:
+ A bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance and/or relevant experience.
+ 2-3 years of experience in a production environment.
+ Advanced knowledge of excel.
+ Ability to work in a team environment.
+ Self-motivation and strong initiative with the ability to work independently.
+ Strong communication and organization skills.
