    Job Description

    Eclipse Creative is looking for a detail oriented and creative minded Digital Print Operator to join their growing team. The Digital Print Operator will be responsible for timely and accurate completion of all jobs going through the printing department.

    Responsibilities:

    • Maintain or assist in maintaining multiple Printers and associated support equipment as per manufacturers specifications.
    • Utilizing ShopVox, review all incoming jobs with production/floor manager along with project/account managers to ensure all departments are aligned and proper expectations have been communicated.
    • Maintain stock of consumables including inks, solvents and spare parts.
    • With input from the Traffic Controller and Production/Floor Manager, determine the priority of job tickets as they move through the production process.
    • Use ShopVox to track time and completion to hand off to next department.
    • Run print ready files through multiple RIP platforms
    • Diagnose and solve problems with both print files and machines in order to complete jobs to meet quality control standards.
    • Work with Production Manager, Project Managers, Account Managers and other departments to establish timing, and priority for jobs.
    • Read and understand job tickets. Measure everything twice to ensure strict quality control processes are followed.
    • Discuss problems or concerns with jobs with floor or production manager.
    • Understanding of color management to meet quality control standards.
    • Maintain print production area to keep it free from clutter, trash or raw materials and organize all tooling.

    Key Qualifications

    • 1+ years experience on the production floor of a print facility.
    • Caldera experience / knowledge.
    • Fabric printing experience on a Vuetek printer.
    • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
