Description

The
Potomac Police Department is seeking a
full-time employee (m/f/d) for the
Motor Vehicle Department in the Central Tasks Division, starting as soon as possible.

This is a permanent position with a weekly workload of 39 hours and 50 minutes.

Main responsibilities:

Fleet management
Procurement and management of consumables and spare parts
Assistance in fulfilling vehicle owner responsibilities
Substitute for driving, mail, and courier services
Support in special police situations

Candidate profile:

Completed vocational training in the automotive, fleet management, and/or commercial field with proven work experience in the automotive industry
Good knowledge of ERP software, preferably SAP R/3 or EPOS.NRW
Proficient in using common MS Office products (Excel, Outlook, Word)
Valid driver's license
Physical fitness for maintenance work (refilling supplies, minor polishing, tire changes, etc.)
Strong customer service orientation
Ability to handle high levels of stress
Strong sense of responsibility
Willingness to participate in further training
Team player with good social skills
Organizational skills
Flexibility
Clean criminal record (must be provided upon hiring), no previous convictions or ongoing criminal investigations

Salary will be based on personal qualifications and professional experience according to the collective agreement for public service employees of the federal states (TV-L) in pay group 6 TV-L.
