Description
POSITION SUMMARY:
Assists the inpatient pharmacy in accomplishing the goals of efficiently
dispensing medications through preparation of bulk and batch sterile products (IV solutions),
providing drugs and supplies to nursing stations and all associated functions that are entailed in that
process, and producing accurate patient charges.
Requirements
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
EDUCATION:
High School diploma or equivalent is required.
CERTIFICATION/
LICENSES:
Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) licensure required. Maintains
current registration with the NM Board of Pharmacy.
SKILLS:
EXPERIENCE:
One-year experience as a pharmacy technician preferred.
NATURE OF SUPERVISION:
ENVIRONMENT:

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Must be able to move throughout the hospital at a rapid pace to an

assistance.
