RequirementsMINIMUMQUALIFICATIONS:
EDUCATION: High Schooldiploma or equivalent is required.
CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSES: Must maintain current registration with the NM Board ofPharmacy
SKILLS:
EXPERIENCE: Hospitalexperience is preferred.
NATURE OFSUPERVISION:
-Responsible to: Director, Pharmacy
ENVIRONMENT:
Occasionalexposure in daily duties. Little expected risk, but may beexposed unexpectedly to potential infectious materials. Exposure may be superficial and limited to a small amount offluid. Close quarters in a busy environment. Low riskfor infectious disease. Possible exposure to hazardouschemicals, allergenic drug products and needle sticks. Moderateexposure to video display terminals.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Mustbe able to move throughout the hospital at a rapid pace for theentire shift. Hearing must be sufficient to answer telephonesand eyesight must be sufficient to read requisitions. Hand-eye coordination must be sufficient to perform aseptictechnique. Must be able to raise a moderate load (less than50 lbs.) using sound body mechanics alone or withassistance.
