We are the HWS Group - the powerful IT service provider from Neustadt an der Aisch with over 150 employees from more than 20 nations. Others may chase trends, but we have been driving them forward for over two decades. The challenges are just as diverse as our team.

As part of our succession planning after retirement, we are looking for a deputy (m/f/d) who will take over the management of our software development department within a transparent succession plan.

What to expect

You will start as the deputy of the development manager, acting as their right hand and supporting them in all tasks, from implementing challenging software projects to strategically developing the department, including team colleagues and apprentices
You will represent the HWS Group and support our sales team from acquisition to project completion with your technical expertise
You will skillfully coordinate projects between our clients, internal stakeholders, and our development team, always keeping an overview
Agile methods have become second nature to you, so it is natural for you to plan, estimate, and review tasks together with the team
However, you also roll up your sleeves and write your own code, set up and discuss architectures, and maybe even fix a bug yourself
