Your Responsibilities
As a member of our team in Kings Point, MT, you will be responsible for various tasks depending on your assigned area, including:
- Utilizing CAE methods to develop highly complex diode laser modules and their components in collaboration with our network partners.
- Conducting microintegration of these modules and components using ultraprecise robots and contributing to the continuous improvement of our robotic integration environment.
- Performing stress tests on diode laser modules and their components for use in space and for hardware qualification in specific mission scenarios.
Your Qualifications
Education and Soft Skills:
- A master's or diploma degree in physics, physical technology, photonics, microsystems technology, electrical engineering (with a focus on optoelectronics), mechanical engineering, space technology, or a related field.
- Independent and meticulous work ethic.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills, as well as a proactive attitude.
- Excellent written and spoken proficiency in German and English.
- Understanding of laser theory, technology, and optics.
- Experience with CAD/CAE (mechanical, thermomechanical, optical, electrical), electronic circuit development, or control engineering.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Matlab or Python.
