    Overview

    We are currently seeking a Customer Relations Specialist to play a key role in supporting top-notch customer service, customer retention, and acquiring new customers. As a Customer Relations Specialist, you will be the main point of contact for customers, handling inbound and outbound sales and service calls, resolving issues, identifying customer needs, recommending products and services, closing sales, and maintaining accurate customer records.

    Responsibilities

    • Handle a large volume of incoming calls while ensuring high-quality customer service, efficiency, and accuracy at all times
    • Maintain a deep understanding of Suburban Propane products and services, customer accounts, billing processes, new customer details, and company policies and procedures
    • Utilize a proactive sales approach in every customer interaction to identify additional sales and service opportunities
    • Present a professional, confident, and enthusiastic demeanor to build trusted relationships with customers
    • Manage customer account data, including setting up new accounts and updating related information

    Qualifications

    • Minimum of 3 years of customer service experience
    • High School diploma or GED preferred
    • Proficient in computer skills, including Microsoft Office, data entry, and report analysis
    • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a team setting
