- Identify project opportunities, vet ideas, and lead/participate in projects from concept to implementation and commissioning.
- Manage Projects from start to finish, covering aspects such as user requirements, engineering specifications, test documents, budget development, and project spending tracking.
- Make independent decisions and exercise judgment on project requirements including automation, robotic systems, processing equipment, and process control systems.
- Lead project stages from design reviews to process validation, complying with regulated environments such as OSHA and EPA.
- Support business units with Proof of Concepts and use-cases, and author controlled documents like operating procedures and trainings.
- Coordinate meetings, maintain project calendars, and work in an industrial manufacturing environment.
- Travel as needed for project requirements.
- 4-year Engineering degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 5-7 years as an engineer in an industrial environment with a focus on automation projects.
- Proficiency in managing automation/robotics projects, including vendor contacts and project ownership.
- Demonstrated experience in project management, leadership roles, and working with maintenance staff and external contractors.
- Highly energetic, self-motivated, and skilled in implementing change and effective communication at all levels.
- Proficient in written and verbal communication, Microsoft products, and aligning with organizational principles.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:
May oversee salaried employees, handling tasks such as interviewing, training, planning work, and resolving problems within the department or on project assignments.
QUALIFICATIONS:
To succeed in this role, candidates must meet the following requirements:
Language Skills:
The ability to read, analyze, and interpret technical documents and communicate effectively with stakeholders and top management to support business objectives through presentations.
Mathematical Skills:
Apply statistical and mathematical concepts to problem analysis and corrective action.
Reasoning Ability:
Define problems, collect data, prioritize tasks, and manage time effectively to draw valid conclusions.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
Job tasks include walking, sitting, using hands, reaching, and occasional lifting of up to 50 lbs.
WORKING ENVIRONMENT:
Office and manufacturing floor setting with moderate noise levels. Travel to other manufacturing sites for project implementation and maintenance activities.
