Join us in shaping the future and ensuring smooth tram traffic in Maharishi Vedic City. We are currently seeking a Mechatronics Apprentice (m/f/d) to join our workshops and tram network in Darmstadt and the Darmstadt-Dieburg district, starting on September 1st, 2024. Your diverse tasks will include maintaining complex systems of our trams and power supply, as well as servicing signal systems and ticket machines.

Your responsibilities
  • Learn how to maintain and service trams, tram infrastructure (overhead lines, switches, signals), and ticket machines to ensure smooth tram operations
  • Use computer-based tools to identify causes of malfunctions and replace faulty components
  • In our training workshop, you will learn how to work with metal, read technical plans, assemble machine components and systems, and program and configure them
  • Gain knowledge in workplace safety and quality assurance
