    Job Details

    We're in search of an Engineering Manager to join our Orlando, FL office within our Transportation Business Unit.

    The ideal candidate will thrive in a dynamic, collaborative environment, leveraging their relevant experience to develop professionally into a versatile engineer poised for growth in today's global landscape.

    Responsibilities

    Design and develop plans and specifications for transportation structures, adhering to AASHTO and FDOT standards.

    Work collaboratively within a team or lead as a task/project manager, ensuring projects stay within budget and schedule under moderate supervision.

    Generate engineering cost estimates, proposals, and scope of work documents, supporting other Project/Task Managers as needed.
    Provide leadership, technical guidance, and direction to project teams to ensure high-quality technical services.
    Enforce compliance with established quality control standards.
    Complete assigned task-related training.
    Occasional participation in outdoor site visits.

    Qualifications

    Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering; Master of Science in Structures preferred.
    Professional Engineering Licensure (PE) in Florida, or eligibility to obtain within 6 months.
    8+ years of engineering experience across various bridge types (structural steel, prestressed, cast-in-place concrete).
    Familiarity with FDOT standards, specifications, and design manuals.
    Proficiency in structural analysis and design software for bridge design.
    Advanced skills in MicroStation and Open Bridge Modeler.
    Strong technical aptitude and interpersonal abilities.
