    Description

    Job Title: Senior Azure Cloud Engineer

    Job Location: Chicago, IL(Remote)

    Duration: 12+ Months

    Responsibilities:

    • Provision, configure, and monitor the Microsoft Azure cloud environment.
    • Handle performance monitoring, policy governance, and security aspects.
    • Architect, develop, and implement solutions within Microsoft Azure.
    • Architect highly available and scalable cloud environments using Azure services such as Virtual Machines, Virtual Networks, Azure App Service, and Azure SQL Database.
    • Analyze existing operational standards and processes to identify and implement improvements.
    • Develop infrastructure as code (IaC) using cloud-native tools (Terraform and Azure CLI).
    • Ensure automated and consistent platform deployments.
    • Ensure all infrastructure components meet proper performance and capacity standards.

    Required skills:

    • 8+ years of Microsoft Azure experience involving design, deployment, configuration, and optimization.
    • Familiarity with IaaS and PaaS solutions. Proficiency in infrastructure as code (IaC) development using tools like Terraform, Azure CLI, Puppet, and Ansible.
    • Scripting skills with Python, and PowerShell.
    • Competence in a wide range of IT skills, including networking, systems administration, data protection, information security.
    • This role requires not only technical expertise but also effective communication and collaboration skills.
